Wednesday 12/7/05 @ Artists Space, NYC
This show was a blast. No opening act, just an evening with Mighty High in an art gallery. People got into the spirit by drawing on the walls.
Set list: Mighty High Theme; Shooting Spree; The Mooche; Hooked On Drugs; Dusted; 1 Quick Thrust; High On the Cross; I Live To Get High; Escape From Daytop; Leroy; Buy the Pound; Breakin Shit; TS Elliott; Pass It Around.

Hurricane Katrina benefit show for the American Red Cross with Suicide King, Atomic # 76, the Saloonatics, Jones Crusher, Supervillian and others. Gunji and Nelsha did a great job organizing this and raised a lot of money. Playing after Suicide King was no fun but we did alright.
Set list: Dusted; Breakin Shit; 1 Quick Thrust; High on the Cross; Le'roy; Buy the Pound.

Where do I begin with this one?
Sabbra Cadabra was the headliner and IronBoss from Baltimore was supposed to open but they cancelled the day of the show.
A band called Monolith wound up playing first. Their lead singer Paul Cortez would later find fame as a convicted murderer.
The Saloonatics played, then us. Hardly anyone showed up and we didn't get paid.
Set list: High on the Cross; Escape from Daytop; Leroy; Shooting Spree; Hooked on Drugs (with DD Smack on vocals); Dusted '05; Breakin Shit; Buy the Pound; I Live To Get High.

Saturday 9/10/05 @ Trash, Brooklyn.
We played with The Black Hollies. This is when I discovered how much Herb loves Glenn Hughes. Some band from Baltimore won a contest sponsored by Jagermeister so there was a lot of that flowing. The Jager girls were even there.

Mighty High vs. THOR. The Hoboken Holocaust. If you look closely, their are still blood stains on the streets near Maxwells from the intense battle.
Set list: 1 Quick Thrust; Shooting Spree; Dusted '05; Pass It Around; Le'roy; Buy The Pound; I Live To Get High; High On The Cross; Breakin Shit; Escape From Daytop; T.S. Elliot; Hooked On Drugs.

Thursday 7/28/05 @ Don Hills, NYC
This could have been really lame but we decided to have fun instead. We were playing with the Saloonatics at the overpriced coke den of Don Hill's. The discount beers for the band were still something like $6. The soundman liked the bands and did a great job for us. After we played it was some sort of 80's dance party.
Set list: High On The Cross; Hooked On Drugs; Dusted '05; Shooting Spree; Escape From Daytop; Le'roy; Breakin Shit; 1 Quick Thrust; Buy The Pound; I Live To Get High.

Killer show. Goat Horn from Toronto played first and blew everyone away with their highlarious old school metal attack. Too bad these guys aren't around anymore.
Next up was Dirty Rig featuring Kory Clarke on vocals. He locked himself in the band room to do coke and wouldn't let anyone in. He kept screaming about Detroit because he's from there and the Pistons won some big basketball game. All I could think about was "Kory Clarke's dude ranch" from the infamous Meatmen spiel.
After that was the debut of Gunji's new wage of mayhem - The Saloonatics. They kicked major ass and everyone was impressed that they were so tight for their first show. I think Black Tongue also played.
Oh yeah, this was a CD release party for our shitty 5 song demo that is completely embarassing. Consider yourself unlucky if you have a copy.

Wednesday 3/23/05 @ The Trash Bar, Brooklyn
This show was awesome. A really HUGE storm started in the late afternoon - snow, sleet, rain, hail, you name it. We all made it there and so did The Munts but all the other bands cancelled. The club was pretty empty when The Munts started but people started flowing in because of the open bar from 9 to 10PM. By the time we went on the place was pretty crowded and people were drunk and ready to party. I had a fever of over 100 degrees but the crowd rocked so hard and I sweat so much that I cured myself on stage.
Set list: Mighty High; Hooked On Drugs; Breakin Shit; Escape From Daytop; High On The Cross; Leroy; Buy The Pound; Pass It Around; 1 Quick Thrust; T.S. Elliot.

Saturday 3/5/05 @ Union Pool, Brooklyn.
This is the only show I don't have a set list for. This was another art student party and not so much fun. The sound at Union Pool back then was terrible and the guy working the PA had no idea what he was doing. The sound system there is now greatly improved.

Friday 1/28/05 @ Continental, NYC
Back at our favorite NYC dump with our friends The Munts. This show was notable because I lent Kurt from The Munts my tuner. Somehow he recalibrated it so that when I used it my guitar was totally out of tune. The first 2 songs I kept yelling at Tim to check his tuning. I felt completely stupid to discover my mistake. The upshot was I got to play my friend Jona's beautiful Gibson SG for the rest of the set.
Another highlight was the insane crowd. I brought along some shitty CD's I found on the free shelf at work for people to destroy during Breakin Shit. People got so into the spirit that they started breaking and throwing anything they could get their hands on. All of this insanity is on a DVD-R somewhere that will never see the light of day.
Set list: Mighty High; The Ram; Pass It Around; Escape From Daytop; Leroy; Buy The Pound; High On The Cross; Breakin Shit; 1 Quick Thrust; T.S. Elliot.
